Michigan based Exedy Drones has opened reservations for its Ayre CX agricultural spray drone model, AgFunderNews and The National Law Review reported. The company targets its first customer deliveries for spring 2027, subject to engineering progress, Federal Aviation Administration approval, dealer availability, and production readiness. [1][2]

AgFunderNews reported that placing a reservation secures a numbered place in the production assembly line through an authorized dealer network. Exedy Drones is owned by EXEDY Glob and operates out of Michigan. [1]

The launch comes as domestic manufacturers attempt to expand drone production capabilities in the United States, AgFunderNews reported. This industry shift follows a decision by the Federal Communications Commission to ban sales of new foreign made drone models across the country. [1]
