Walmart bundles Walmart Plus and Sams Club memberships to compete with Amazon

Walmart has introduced a joint subscription offering that bundles Walmart Plus and Sam's Club Plus memberships, Grocery Dive reported. The combined membership costs 120 dollars annually, which provides customers with a discount compared to purchasing the two subscriptions separately. [1]

The bundled offering saves consumers nearly 100 dollars, according to Grocery Dive. The strategy targets households affected by rising consumer prices and employment concerns, while positioning the company against competing offerings like Amazon Prime, which costs 139 dollars per year. [1]
