Italian appliance manufacturer De Longhi has increased its investment stake in its professional espresso machine division, which includes the La Marzocco and Eversys brands. World Coffee Portal reported on October 16, 2026, that the joint professional business unit is currently valued at 2.3 billion dollars. [1][4]

World Coffee Portal reported that the combined tie up between La Marzocco and Eversys was originally formed in December 2023 through a deal valued at 1.4 billion dollars. The business unit generated 489.1 million euros, or approximately 584.5 million dollars, in revenue last year. The operation now accounts for approximately 25 percent of the total group profit for De Longhi. [1]

De Longhi is an Italian small appliance manufacturer based in Treviso, Italy. La Marzocco was founded in 1927 in Florence by Giuseppe and Bruno Bambi, and the espresso machine specialist is currently headquartered in Scarperia, Italy. [2][4]

La Marzocco introduced early models such as the Fiorenza machine before securing a patent for the first horizontal boiler espresso machine in 1939. The company later introduced dual boiler systems and saturated brewing groups through its GS series in the 1970s, followed by pressure profiling technology in its 2009 Strada model. [5]
