Ivan Ramen will open a second London site on Askew Road in West London in late November 2026, Hospitality & Catering News reported. The concept was founded by chef Ivan Orkin, who featured on the Netflix series Chef's Table. London On The Inside also reported that the brand is opening a second location in London. [1][3]
The new West London restaurant will seat 28 diners, according to Hospitality & Catering News. This capacity provides a slightly larger space than the brand's original 26-cover site in Farringdon, which launched in November 2025. The Askew Road venue will offer signature ramen, Japanese small plates, and desserts, with additional menu items scheduled to launch in December 2026. [1]
The Ivan Ramen concept originally began in Tokyo, where Orkin opened his first ramen shop in the Setagaya district in 2007. The business later expanded to New York City. The UK operation is backed by a partnership with the hospitality growth platform Sessions, Hospitality & Catering News reported. [1][5][7]
The opening marks another addition to London's dining market following other recent restaurant expansions across the city, as FTMQ Food reported earlier. Hospitality group Alux Hospitality plans to launch a brasserie in Chelsea in early 2027, while salad chain Urban Greens added its seventh site on Tottenham Court Road in October 2026. [8][9]
