Purebread Brands has agreed to acquire the café business of Caffè Artigiano for CA$7.7 million, equivalent to approximately $5.4 million, World Coffee Portal reported on 12 October 2026. Reports from kalkine.ca and Kalkine Media also covered the transaction involving the Canadian listed company Purebread Brands Inc. [1][2][3]

The proposed acquisition will triple the size of the Vancouver-based bakery group, according to World Coffee Portal. The transaction will form a combined bakery-café operator with nearly 30 locations across British Columbia. [1]
